Carol Ann Berkley

My passion is for making beautiful, interesting things - things with heart and style!

I started out in Calgary, studying music and becoming a lead singer in a band.  This progressed into professional musical theatre.  My love for sewing and designing got an early start as well.  For a time I was a professional seamstress while living in Florida.

When I moved back to Canada, after travelling around the world with my husband, I started painting on fabric, tiles and wood.  I love making purses and unique evening bags as small works of art!   

I am self taught and have created many pieces of functional custom art for my clients over the years.  Please visit my website at www.finedesigns.ca   My many thanks go out to Krisztina Egyed, Chair and Curator of the Squamish Arts Council and the Squamish Sculpters Society, as my artistic wings continue to spread!  They have expanded into producing sculptural fashion fantacies, involving wire, fabric, feathers, salmon skins and bones, willow bows and bark!  I love a good challenge!
